I love your line, "Write some code, create that project plan and hand it off to a co-worker for their credit, work on the manufacturing line for a while, or sit on the toilet." It makes me wonder what that would look like for Christians building up other Christians in their role in the life of building the Kingdom of God.

And Denise, thanks for the encouragement.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05129977618289103652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2236664964489234024.post-2684758914935998272009-01-28T21:34:00.000-06:002009-01-28T21:34:00.000-06:00Will, I enjoy checking out the links you post. For me, it was always about how I was treating my employees, or about how the processes I helped to implement affected those folks actually performing the work.

This may be a bit off-topic, but this blog segues to my personal management philosphy: Always treat everyone the way you want to be treated, and never ask them to do anything that you wouldn't do yourself. If you seek feedback from those around you about how you are doing, and keep the Lord at the center of all you do, then you won't stray too far from the direction God wants you to go. Write some code, create that project plan and hand it off to a co-worker for their credit, work on the manufacturing line for a while, or sit on the toilet. It all aids reflection, and helps you get perspective.

Thanks for the blog post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
